A reflection
My beauty and identity begin with Jesus Christ. Ephesians places God's saving grace before our good works: belonging to Him is a gift received through faith. The beauty I want to share is a life being shaped by His love.
for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Through every season, Jesus Christ is the foundation of my identity. His grace reminds me that I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:8–10). I share my story to point women toward His love and the beauty He grows within us.

A reflection
Peter directs our attention to the heart and the character God values. As I follow Jesus, I want my outward expression to reflect the gentleness, trust, and love He is growing within me.
Let your beauty come not from the outward adorning of braiding your hair, and of wearing gold ornaments or of putting on fine clothing, but from the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.
