Happy Prayer Tuesday, friends!

Today's prayer video is about songs. It's about worship — praise and worship, and prayer. Prayerful praise and worship.

There is a song I love in Spanish that I wish I could translate into English. It's an old song, but the bottom line of it is this: I love You, my Lord. I love You. You are everything to me. By Your side I go walking, and I feel Your presence in my soul.

I have talked to you about God and time — trusting Him with time. I have talked about talking to Him from our deepest places, no matter what we say. But now it's about music. It's about worshiping.

Even if you don't know a lot of Christian music, or you're new, just sing to Him. He loves your adoration. He loves your praise. You can pray any song. Maybe you remember the ones from when you were little, like Amazing Grace, or I Come to the Garden Alone. All these old hymns. Prayer in praise. He loves it.

Music bypasses something deep within our hearts. In my dark times, I found so much connection to my Creator by singing. There is something that comes out of my heart toward Him that I just cannot explain. But I want to encourage you: if you are going through something very difficult and this is the only way you can communicate, do it through praise. Just sing. Just sing. It will bypass your understanding. It will bypass all the things. A straight connection to Jesus.

Abro mi mente a Ti, Señor.

This is the song I was singing about:
